for bottle deposits that is a tax that can be configured by

  1. login
  2. Settings
  3. General
  4. Tax
  5. Item Tax Type (Select Beverage)
  6. Bottle Container Deposit Must be enabled on that page (Also Add Amount Per Bottle
  7. Now that this is configured you can add an item and make sure that you select beverage as an item attribute and on the advanced tab you can enter how many bottles are there.
