On the desktop if you right click on the pos app and click on properties you can use the following parameters
-e (external display [remember if there is no display and you have this parameter on it can prevent the program from starting ])
-w (wide screen )
-s (server)
-d (debug mode for administrative use only )
-l (local printing for previous versions)
—hostPrint (to print using server setting)
—hostip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Where x is = the Ip address
